Therapy for
Young Adults
Does adulting feel harder than you thought it would be?
Early adulthood is a time of transitions. As you explore your place in the world and work toward future goals, relationships and responsibilities may be shifting. It can be an exciting time and it may also be full of challenges.
In addition to all the personal stressors you may be experiencing, there is much unfolding in the world and socio-political decisions and systems of oppression may have very real impacts on you.
In therapy, you’ll find a caring, non-judgmental space to support you as you navigate early adulthood. Together, we may explore a number of topics that are on your mind. This might include identity exploration, growing your emotional awareness, building self-compassion, navigating interpersonal relationships, setting boundaries, grieving losses, and working toward your hopes for the future.
We can explore areas of your life where you feel stuck or have a sense that you’re “overthinking” things. I frequently work with young adults healing from childhood wounds or struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, or bipolar disorder.
Through all that may be changing at this stage in your life, therapy can be a consistent landing place to support you as you grow through the transitions. If this sounds like what you’re looking for, please reach out to me so we can explore the possibility of working together.
“She could never go back and make some of the details pretty.
All she could do was move forward and make the whole beautiful.”
